NEWS PG 2

A Letter From The Producer

Friday 11 June 1999 a letter arrives saying that Sir Chromalot was successful at the auditions and the team are through to the next part.
One problem the team faced is that Dave had flown off on holiday that morning, and they were unable to tell him the good news.
Team Hub Nuts were unavailable for comment, as they had lost Sir Chromalot and were out looking for him. It is suspected that Chromalot was out playing with the traffic again.

Dear Roboteer,

Thank you for coming to the auditions over the May bank holiday. We were extremely impressed with the huge turn out and the standard of robots.

I am delighted to inform you that you have passed through to the next round of the selection process. We will contact you in the beginning of July with more details, and confirmation of dates and a venue.

Please Note: This letter does NOT guarantee your place in the final selection of robots for the show.

We plan to record at the end of August / beginning of September. Please try to keep this period free.

I do apologise for not being more specific at this stage but as I am sure you are aware, a program of this magnitude requires careful and methodical planning, all of which takes time.

If you have any questions, that are not of a technical nature then please do not hesitate to contact our contestant co-ordinator.

In the mean time, thank you your patience and all your hard work to date.
